Following a productive meeting with Matthijs Verhagen from Storm Interface, these devices have been successfully integrated and can now be used directly with SiteKiosk Online. The collaboration ensures that all three input systems contribute to making kiosk terminals more inclusive and accessible to everyone.
Storm Interface’s assistive devices enable users with visual or motor impairments to navigate and interact with kiosk systems more easily – through tactile controls and audible feedback. With native Plug & Play support in SiteKiosk Online, these devices can now be connected and used immediately without additional setup effort.
In addition, SiteKiosk Online can also act as a middleware layer, enabling third-party applications running on the kiosk to benefit from SiteKiosk’s accessibility features. This allows existing software solutions to offer barrier-free access without requiring deep technical modifications.
This integration marks another important step in Sitekiosk’s ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusion, offering new opportunities for public terminals, information points, and self-service kiosks that are accessible to all users.
